Replace missing teeth

Dental implants in Littleborough

Dental implants are the best option for replacing missing teeth. They are placed in the jaw, bond with the bone, and look, feel and work like your own teeth.

About dental implants

An implant replaces the root of a missing tooth. Once it has bonded to the jawbone, it supports a crown, bridge or denture that is secure, stable and natural-looking.

Implants can replace a single missing tooth, several teeth, or all of your teeth. They can also be used to stabilise loose dentures, locking them into place so they do not move.

Six reasons to choose implants

  • Feels natural

Implants look, feel and work like your natural teeth.

  • Protects healthy teeth

Neighbouring teeth do not need to be ground down to support them.

  • Supports your face

Anchored in the jawbone, implants stimulate bone and gums, helping maintain your facial structure.

  • No adhesives

No pastes or adhesives are needed to hold your new teeth in place.

  • No more wobbling

They end the discomfort and worry of loose, ill-fitting dentures.

  • Permanent

A secure, long-term replacement that you care for just like your own teeth.

What happens

Three calm steps

  1. Step 1: Consultation

We examine your mouth, take X-rays and explain whether implants are right for you.

  2. Step 2: Placement

The implant is placed under local anaesthetic, then left to bond with the bone.

  3. Step 3: Your new tooth

Once healed, we fit your crown, bridge or denture onto the implant.

Good to know

Dental Implants: your questions answered

How much does a dental implant cost?

A dental implant is £2,500. We will give you a full written estimate after your consultation, including any crown, bridge or denture on top. Finance options are available, subject to age and status, with a minimum spend.

Am I suitable for implants?

Most adults with good general health are suitable. You need enough healthy bone and gums, and smokers and people with some medical conditions may need extra care. Your consultation will tell you for sure.

Does having an implant hurt?

Implants are placed under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Most people find the following days less uncomfortable than they expected.

Can implants fix my loose dentures?

Yes. Two or more implants can act as anchors that lock your denture into place so it does not move when you eat or speak.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. We offer finance through Medenta, subject to age, status and a minimum spend. We are a credit broker, not a lender.
