Emergency Dentist: your questions answered
Can I really be seen today?
Our online booking is set up for same-day pain resolution appointments. Choose a slot that shows as available and it is yours. If you cannot see a time that works, call us on 01706 376523 and we will do our best to help.
How much does an emergency appointment cost?
Our pain resolution appointment is £95 and includes the treatment needed to relieve your pain. If the tooth needs extracting or the nerve removing, there is an additional £65 for an incisor, £95 for a premolar or £130 for a molar.
Do I need to be registered with you?
No. Pain resolution appointments are open to anyone who needs urgent help, whether or not you already see us for check-ups.
What should I do with a knocked-out adult tooth?
Hold it by the crown (the white part), not the root. If it is clean, try to put it back in its socket; otherwise keep it in milk or in your cheek, and get to a dentist as soon as possible. The quicker you are seen, the better the chance of saving it.
What if it happens when you are closed?
Call NHS 111 for urgent dental advice out of hours. Go to A&E if swelling affects your breathing, swallowing or eyes, or if bleeding is heavy and will not stop.
