Dental veneers for Wardle
Veneers should look like beautiful natural teeth, not like veneers. Patients from Wardle choose us because they can see their new smile in wax first, and we only recommend veneers when they are genuinely the right choice.

Why Wardle patients choose us for dental veneers
Wardle sits just west of Littleborough, in the same council ward as our practice. Families from the village, from around Watergrove Reservoir and from the lanes towards Calderbrook can be with us in minutes, which makes regular check-ups and children’s appointments easy to fit in.
Veneers are extremely thin porcelain coverings bonded onto the front surface of your teeth, a little like a false fingernail. They can be made for a single tooth that has darkened after root treatment, or for all the teeth that show when you smile.
Usually we create a wax model of your new teeth first, so you can see and approve the result before treatment starts. To help the veneer sit naturally under your lips, a minimal amount of the tooth surface is usually removed, with the area numbed using flavoured gels and local anaesthetic. You can listen to relaxing music during the procedure, and temporary coverings are fitted while our dental technician makes your porcelain veneers.

What happens
Three calm steps
Step 1: Design
We plan your smile and create a wax model so you can approve the look.
Step 2: Prepare
We gently prepare the tooth surface and fit temporary veneers.
Step 3: Bond
Your porcelain veneers are bonded in place and polished.
Looking after veneers
Modern bonding is very strong, but it is worth taking care when biting into anything very hard (a peach stone or a bone, for example) or very sticky foods that might pull on a veneer.

How much do veneers cost?

Can I see what they will look like first?
Usually, yes. We create a wax model of your new teeth so you can see and approve the result before we begin.
