Why Newhey patients choose us for dentures
Newhey is a close-knit village at the foot of the Pennines, and many of its families have been coming to Littleborough for their dentistry for years. We are close enough for a quick check-up before work, and for same-day help if a tooth suddenly starts to hurt.
There is no substitute for your own teeth, and making dentures that perform as well as natural teeth is one of the hardest challenges in dentistry. Good dentures can genuinely improve your quality of life, and we aim to go beyond your expectations.
Your dentures are made over several appointments. We take accurate measurements of your mouth and build your new teeth in wax first. You (and your family, if you like) can see them in your mouth and ask for changes until everyone is happy. Once the wax is turned into the final material it is hard to change, so we spend our time getting this stage right.

Why choose flexible dentures
Comfortable
The nylon base adapts to the shape and movement of your mouth when you speak, eat or yawn.
Discreet
No metal clasps on show, and the thin base lets your natural gum colour show through.
Secure
They snap securely and comfortably into place around your existing teeth.
Kind to your teeth
No need to adjust your natural teeth to make room for clasps.
Light and strong
Lightweight, strong, and matched to your natural teeth and gums.
What happens
Three calm steps
Step 1: Measure
We take accurate impressions and records of your mouth and bite.
Step 2: Try in wax
You see your new teeth in wax, and we adjust them until you are happy.
Step 3: Fit and review
We fit your finished dentures, then see you again to fine-tune the comfort.
Implants to steady loose dentures
If your existing dentures move about, dental implants can act as anchors that lock them in place, making them feel more comfortable, secure and effective.
